Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Payroll Internship role based in Mumbai. The intern will support payroll processing activities, including data entry, validation of employee attendance and compensation details, and preparation of payroll reports under supervision.
Responsibilities include assisting with recording journal entries, reconciling payroll-related accounts, and helping maintain accurate financial records. The role also involves working with accounting software, organizing documentation for audits and compliance, and coordinating with HR and finance team members to resolve payroll queries. The intern will gain practical exposure to financial statements, internal controls, and standard accounting procedures in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

- Candidates should possess skills in finance and the preparation or interpretation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software and handling journal entries (accounting).
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing payroll and financial data.
- Basic knowledge of payroll processes, statutory deductions, and compliance will be beneficial.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in office in Mumbai and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in technology-driven business solutions and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
