About Us

Brookeside Accounting Services is a Kolkata-based accounting firm serving clients outside India. We provide virtual accounting support to businesses and CPA firms, working across multiple accounting platforms.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced accountant who can independently handle cleanups, catch-ups, and day-to-day accounting for client accounts.

What You'll Do

- Clean up and catch up books, and manage regular monthly accounting
- Reconcile bank and GL accounts and keep client files accurate
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Use spreadsheets and AI tools to work faster and more accurately

What We're Looking For

- Based in Kolkata or nearby
- Graduate in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field




- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Transparent understanding of how data flows between the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
- Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel / Google Sheets)
- Comfort using AI tools to speed up your work
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Experience with QBO, Buildium, Appfolio, Rent Manager preferred.

Work Details

- Work from home
- Monday to Friday, 8 hours, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM IST
- Must have your own laptop with active MS Office and a reliable, good internet connection
- Compensation: ₹22,000 per month
