Role Description The Accounting Assistant role at Finplify is a full-time, on-site position based in Recent Delhi.

In this role, the Accounting Assistant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and wallet balances, and helping ensure accurate and timely posting of entries in accounting software.

The Accounting

Assistant will assist in bookkeeping tasks, support month-end and year-end closing activities, and help compile financial data for internal reports and audits. This position also involves collaborating with finance team members, responding to documentation requests, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Finance, with a solid understanding of core principles and basic financial analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in Bookkeeping,



including accurate transaction recording, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software, with hands-on experience using common tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data handling for financial reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Prior experience in a fintech or investment-focused organization is an advantage but not mandatory.
