Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Vishakhapatnam. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial accounting, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing journal entries.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, reconciling bank and cash accounts, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as vendors and auditors.



The Accountant will help improve accounting processes, maintain accurate documentation, and support management with data for budgeting and cost control.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of taxation, compliance, and statutory regulations applicable to manufacturing businesses.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory.
