Role Description The Academic Consultant and Counsellor will engage with learners on-site in Bengaluru, guiding them through academic and career pathways that align with current industry needs. This role involves conducting one-on-one and group counselling sessions, understanding learners’ goals, and recommending suitable programs or learning routes. The consultant will collaborate with the education and training teams to ensure that learners receive accurate information about courses, outcomes, and skill development.

Daily activities include advising on career readiness, tracking learner progress,



maintaining detailed records, and providing feedback to improve the learning ecosystem. The role also includes supporting outreach and admissions conversations, explaining program value propositions, and helping learners make informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction and active listening.
- Background in Education or academic advising, with an understanding of curriculum, learning outcomes, and student support.
- Experience in Consulting or advisory roles, with the ability to analyze learner needs and propose suitable pathways.
- Coaching and mentoring skills to guide learners through career choices, skill development, and goal setting.
- Basic Sales and relationship-building abilities to explain program benefits, handle inquiries, and support enrollments in an ethical manner.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience working with students, early-career professionals, or career transition candidates in an academic or training environment.
- Comfort working in a quick-evolving, learner-centric organization and collaborating across teams to improve learner outcomes.
