Role Description The Abroad Admission Counselor is a full time, on-site role based in Thrissur. This role involves guiding students through the entire overseas admission process, including initial counseling, program and university selection, application preparation, and documentation support. The counselor will conduct one-on-one consultations, organize information sessions, and maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with international institutions and partners, providing regular updates to students and families, and ensuring timely completion of admission and visa-related procedures. The role also includes staying current with global education trends, entry requirements, and scholarship opportunities,



while contributing to outreach activities and marketing initiatives to attract prospective students.

Qualifications

- Robust counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student needs and provide clear, personalized guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including confident spoken and written English and the ability to present information effectively.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, such as managing documentation, tracking applications, and handling multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission requirements, and visa processes, with willingness to learn and stay updated.
- Proficiency in common office and productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or student management systems) and comfort with online research.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a student-centric, ethical approach to all counseling activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, institutions, and partners, while taking initiative and responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counseling, admissions, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
