3PL ERP OMS Integration Analyst

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced 3PL ERP OMS Integration Analyst with 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in live warehouse/distribution center environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in 3PL operations, WMS integrations, OMS/ERP/TMS interfaces, cloud technologies, SQL, production support, and observability.
Experience with Manhattan WMS is highly preferred. The candidate should be comfortable working closely with warehouse operations, onshore IT teams, application/technical teams, and client leadership to troubleshoot production issues, improve system reliability, and support peak-season operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the offshore point of contact for 3PL/WMS-related production issues raised by warehouse associates, supervisors, and shift leads.
- Analyze and troubleshoot 3PL-to-OMS/ERP/TMS integration issues, including inventory synchronization failures, order status mismatches, transaction failures, and data inconsistencies.
- Work closely with onshore 3PL/Warehouse IT, operations leadership, and application/technical teams to identify root causes and coordinate issue resolution.
- Understand end-to-end warehouse and order lifecycle transactions across OMS, WMS, ERP, and TMS, including inventory, order, fulfillment, reconciliation, bookkeeping, and GL-related transactions.
- Investigate interface and event-driven data flows using APIs, EDI, message queues, and cloud-based services.
- Utilize AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Kinesis, EventBridge, Lambda, RDS, and related services for troubleshooting and integration support.
- Create and execute ad-hoc jobs, scripts,
and automations to proactively prevent or resolve production issues.
- Perform proper testing and rapid deployment of fixes and automation during critical production and peak-season periods.
- Handle housekeeping activities and bulk reprocessing of impacted orders or transactions when required.
- Monitor production environments using observability platforms, preferably New Relic, to identify issues and performance trends.
- Create and maintain New Relic dashboards, alerts, and monitoring capabilities to proactively identify potential production issues.
- Analyze issue trends and proactively identify recurring problems, system gaps, and process inefficiencies.
- Recommend and implement system configuration or process improvements to reduce manual workarounds and operational dependency.
- Support peak-season readiness, including volume/stress testing, configuration reviews, production readiness checks, and contingency planning.
- Participate in post-incident reviews/root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical warehouse and operations teams.
- Translate warehouse/operational challenges into clear technical requirements for application and engineering teams.
- Provide production support during US business hours and peak holiday sales periods as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting 3PL/WMS solutions in a live warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major WMS platform such as:
- Manhattan WMS – Preferred
- Blue Yonder / JDA
- FDM4
- Other enterprise 3PL/WMS platforms
- Strong understanding of core warehouse operations, including:
- Receiving
- Put-away
- Replenishment
- Wave planning
- Picking
- Packing
- Shipping
- Cycle counting
- Inventory management
- Experience with 3PL WMS integrations with OMS, ERP, and/or TMS platforms.
- Good understanding of interface and event-driven architectures, including APIs, EDI, message queues, and asynchronous integrations.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for data investigation, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and reporting; should be able to independently write and modify queries.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Kinesis, EventBridge, Lambda, and RDS is highly preferred.
- Experience with production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring platforms, preferably New Relic.
- Ability to work directly with warehouse floor staff and translate operational problems into actionable technical requirements.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting peak-season/holiday retail volume surges.
