Role Overview
Hands‑on Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions across cloud and infrastructure environments. This role is focused on infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD automation, and operational workflows.
The Automation Engineer will work closely with ServiceNow, Cloud team etcto enable fully automated, approval‑driven infrastructure and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement automation using:
Ansible for configuration management and orchestration
Terraform for infrastructure provisioning (IaC)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
GitHub Actions
Git‑based workflows
Develop automation scripts using
PowerShell (Windows / AD / enterprise automation)
Shell scripting (where applicable)
Automate
End User Support
Cloud resource provisioning
Infrastructure scaling and remediation
Integrate automation workflows with
ServiceNow (RITM‑based execution, approvals)
Monitoring and alerting systems
Ensure automation is
Secure
Idempotent
Well‑documented
Production‑ready
Participate in design discussions for agentic and AI‑assisted automation use cases
Troubleshoot automation failures and improve reliability
Required Skills & Experience
3–6 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud automation
Robust hands‑on experience with
Ansible
Terraform
Git / GitHub
GitHub Actions
PowerShell
Experience working with
Azure
Active Directory automation
Infrastructure provisioning and configuration
Understanding of
CI/CD best practices
Infrastructure as Code principles
Enterprise security and access controls
Preferred / Good‑to‑Have
Experience integrating automation with ServiceNow
Exposure to SRE or DevOps practices
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
Interest in AI‑driven automation and agent‑based systems
