Position: Architectural Compliance Officer

Position Overview

Amity Education Group is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Architectural Compliance Officer to support its Projects Management & Compliance Department (PMCD).

The position will be responsible for coordinating with the Architectural Company, Project Teams and Regulatory Authorities to facilitate timely approvals, ensure regulatory compliance and support the smooth progress of architectural and construction projects.

Eligibility

1.B.Arch. with 0–2 years of relevant experience; or

2.Diploma in Architecture with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

3.Candidates should have valuable knowledge of architectural drawings, building regulations and statutory approval processes.

4.Good communication, coordination, documentation and follow-up skills are essential.

5.Candidates with exposure to building, fire, structural, electrical, plumbing or other statutory approvals will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1.Assist in understanding and reviewing Architectural, Fire, Structural, Electrical and Plumbing drawings prepared by the appointed Architectural Company/Consultants.

2.Coordinate between the Architectural Company, PMCD, Project Teams and Regulatory Authorities for various statutory approvals.

3.Assist in obtaining and tracking building permits, fire approvals, electrical/plumbing approvals and other regulatory permissions.

4.Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable building bye-laws, National Building Code (NBC), zoning requirements and other statutory regulations.

4.Coordinate with local authorities, urban planning departments, government agencies and other stakeholders for project-related approvals and compliance matters.





6.Monitor the status of applications, permits and approvals and ensure that required documents are submitted within stipulated timelines.

7.Facilitate effective coordination among design, architecture, engineering and construction teams to support smooth project execution.

8.Maintain proper records of approvals, correspondence, drawings, submissions and compliance documentation.

9.Monitor key project milestones relating to statutory approvals and highlight delays or compliance issues to the concerned authorities.

10.Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable environmental and sustainability requirements.

11.Prepare periodic reports on regulatory approvals, project progress, pending matters and compliance status.

12.Assist in ensuring that final handover documentation, including as-built drawings and statutory approvals, is complete and properly maintained/submitted.

Compensation
