Job Role : Associate Director - Technology & Innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technology Leadership & Recent Product Development
Define and drive the technology roadmap for future data centre products and infrastructure platforms.
Lead development of next-generation, AI-ready and high-density data centre design solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies including direct liquid cooling, advanced air cooling, digital twins, AI-enabled facility management, IoT infrastructure, analytics and predictive maintenance.
Establish structured frameworks for technology evaluation, pilot implementation, business-case approval and portfolio-wide adoption.
Benchmark design solutions against hyperscale requirements, international operators and global industry practices.

2. Multidisciplinary Design Excellence & Governance
Provide technical leadership across Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, ELV/IBMS and integrated building systems.
Develop, govern and periodically update design standards, specifications, design philosophies and reference architectures.
Drive standardization, templatization, modularization, repeatability and configurable design blocks across the portfolio.
Lead stage-gate technical reviews from master planning and concept design through detailed engineering, construction, testing and commissioning.
Promote Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, prefabrication, modular construction and other productivity- enhancing methods.

3. Reliability, Maintainability & Operational Excellence
Lead design initiatives that improve data centre reliability, availability and resilience.




Assess all major design solutions from operability, maintainability, serviceability, safety and lifecycle-risk perspectives.
Ensure adequate access, isolation, replacement pathways, maintainable clearances and phased expansion provisions are embedded in design.
Work closely with Projects and Operations to convert lessons, incidents and maintenance challenges into improved design standards.
Reduce operational complexity and improve restoration, maintenance and change-management outcomes through design.

4. Efficiency Enhancement
Identify and implement initiatives to improve PUE, water efficiency, energy efficiency, asset utilization, space utilization and cooling performance.

Lead engineering assessments to reduce system losses and optimize equipment selection, plant configuration and controls.
Evaluate opportunities in cooling optimization, chiller-plant performance, airflow management, intelligent controls and analytics-led optimization.
Develop portfolio-level efficiency roadmaps with clear baselines, targets, measurement methodology and benefits tracking.

5. Cost Optimization & Commercial Engineering
Drive structured programs to reduce capital cost and cost per MW without compromising safety, reliability,



quality or maintainability.
Identify opportunities for design simplification, material optimization, equipment standardization, localization, footprint reduction and capacity/yield enhancement.
Lead value-engineering workshops with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, vendors and OEMs.
Develop cost benchmarks and design-to-cost analytics across major systems and project archetypes.
Evaluate lifecycle cost, return on investment, payback and risk before recommending technology or design changes.

6. Industry Intelligence & Innovation Ecosystem
Maintain current knowledge of hyperscale trends, AI infrastructure, high-density computing, liquid cooling, sustainability requirements, international standards and construction technology.
Build productive relationships with OEMs, consultants, research institutions, industry bodies and technology partners.
Lead proof-of-concept and pilot programs and establish objective success criteria before scaled deployment.
Represent the organization at technical forums and contribute to white papers, position papers and innovation roadmaps.

7. Stakeholder & Team Leadership
Being part of Design team collaborate with Delivery, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sustainability, EHS, Quality, Sales and Business leadership.
Support strategic customer engagements requiring technical differentiation, solution development or assurance.
Ensure clear decision-making, technical accountability, risk escalation and timely closure of design issues.
