Role Summary

The Global Finance Change Business Analyst will support Finance Change, Design and Delivery initiatives, working with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, Technology and Business teams.

The role is responsible for gathering, analysing, documenting and managing business requirements, supporting solution design and implementation, and ensuring alignment across business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into process, functional, user, system and data requirements.
- Define and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage change requests and scope changes through a robust change control process.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams.
- Produce functional and technical requirements, implementation and testing documentation.
- Support solution design and evaluate solution options, risks, benefits and trade-offs.
- Work with complex regulatory data models and functional solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements across regulators including PRA, ECB, HKMA and OSFI.
- Work with Finance, Risk, IT, Finance Operations and other global and regional stakeholders.
- Manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions,



resolve conflicting requirements and build consensus.
- Support delivery teams and ensure alignment between system design and user requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, governance, controls and required standards.
- Support operational risk, compliance and internal control requirements.
- Work with teams across multiple global regions.

Required Skills & Experience

- Business Analyst experience within large and complex programmes in the financial services industry.
- Experience in Finance, Risk and Regulatory Change.
- Experience with Regulatory Reporting requirements.
- Understanding of Basel III/IV and PRA/COREP Regulatory Reporting Requirements.
- Experience with complex regulatory data models and cross-functional solution design.
- Experience working with cloud environments, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Advanced data analysis skills using SQL and Excel.
- Experience using Python scripts for business analysis on large, high-volume datasets.
- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation and management.
- Experience with functional and technical requirements, implementation and testing.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design functional solution options and identify risks, advantages and trade-offs.
- Ability to work with global teams across multiple regions.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Understanding of data including facility, products and risk parameters used for credit risk calculation and reporting.
