About the Role
Sorta Famous is looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager with strong agency and B2B sales experience who can build a pipeline, sell services and convert opportunities into paying clients.
This is a revenue-focused role for someone who can independently own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to pitching, negotiation and closure.
We are looking for someone commercially sharp, confident with decision-makers, solid at selling services and comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end B2B sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients for the agency.
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email outreach and other relevant channels.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.




• Understand prospective clients' business and marketing requirements and identify relevant opportunities across PR, social media, branding, influencer marketing and communications.
• Lead discovery calls, pitches and client meetings independently.
• Develop proposals and pitches in coordination with internal teams.
• Sell both monthly retainers and project-based services.
• Handle pricing discussions, objections, negotiations and closures confidently.
• Maintain consistent follow-ups and actively move opportunities through the sales funnel.
• Take ownership of monthly and quarterly new business targets.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and follow-up trackers.
• Build relationships with founders, CXOs, marketing heads and other key decision-makers.
• Coordinate a smooth handover from sales closure to client onboarding.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
