Job Title: CRO (Control Room Operator) – Ferro Alloys Industry: Ferro Alloys / Steel Plant / Manufacturing Department: Production / Operations Experience: 2–5 Years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering (ITI candidates may be considered based on experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control furnace operations from the control room.
- Monitor furnace temperature, voltage, current, power consumption and other operating parameters.
- Coordinate with furnace operators and field staff to ensure smooth production.
- Monitor raw material charging, melting and alloy production processes.
- Maintain production records, shift reports and furnace operating logs.
- Identify abnormal operating conditions and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance and electrical teams during equipment breakdowns.
- Monitor power supply and furnace performance to minimize downtime.
