Role Title: Supplier Quality & Technical Coordinator

Status: Full Time, and Location: On-Site

Position Summary

The Supplier Quality & Technical Coordinator is responsible for supporting supplier quality, on-site inspections, product development, testing, technical documentation, and day-to-day operational activities. This is a hands-on, field-oriented role that works closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure products are developed and manufactured according to VeeRootit's specifications and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will closely work with the Managing Director and Strategy Specialist – Operations, supporting supplier visits, inspections, product and sample development, colour approvals, testing, documentation, supplier coordination, and operational activities. The role requires regular interaction with suppliers and travel to supplier or manufacturing locations as required.

This position provides broad exposure to supplier quality, manufacturing, product development, operations, and international business, with opportunities to take on increased responsibilities as the company grows.

The Supplier Quality & Technical Coordinator will report directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Quality & On-Site Inspection

- Conduct supplier and manufacturing site visits for product, material, production, and pre-shipment inspections.




- Inspect products against approved specifications, samples, dimensions, appearance, workmanship, and quality requirements.
- Identify quality concerns, deviations, or inconsistencies and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.
- Prepare inspection reports with observations, measurements, photographs, and supporting documentation.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure identified quality issues are addressed before production or shipment.

Product Development & Technical Support

- Support new product, material, and supplier development activities from initial sampling through final approval.
- Coordinate samples, prototypes, revisions, colour matching, trials, and product approvals with suppliers.
- Review product dimensions, materials, physical characteristics, workmanship, and other technical requirements.
- Coordinate product and material testing with suppliers, laboratories, and other external partners.
- Develop a working understanding of applicable specifications, quality standards, tolerances, physical and chemical properties, and testing requirements.

Supplier Coordination & Relationship Management

- Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding product development, quality, samples, testing, production, and technical requirements.
- Develop professional working relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners through regular communication and on-site interaction.
- Follow up on open actions, development timelines, quality concerns, testing requirements, and supplier commitments.
- Provide timely supplier and project updates to the Managing Director and Strategy Specialist – Operations.

Quality Documentation & Operational Support

- Maintain product specifications, inspection records, test reports, Certificates of Analysis, supplier documents, approved samples, and quality records.
- Support preparation of SOPs, inspection checklists, specifications, technical documents, and work instructions.
- Assist with supplier follow-ups, sample coordination, quotations, records, data collection, spreadsheets,



and project tracking.
- Support the Strategy Specialist – Operations with day-to-day supplier, quality, product development, and operational activities.
- Maintain organized and accurate electronic records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Business & Marketing Support

- Support preparation of product information, technical details, presentations, catalogues, photographs, and other marketing materials when required.
- Assist with organizing product samples and technical information for customers, exhibitions, presentations, and business development activities.
- Provide additional operational and administrative support based on evolving business requirements.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Chemical/Polymer Technology, Production, Agriculture, or a related technical field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; previous industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of quality principles, specifications, measurements, tolerances, physical and chemical properties, and inspection methods.
- Strong attention to detail, observation, problem-solving, and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers.
- Willingness to travel to supplier and manufacturing locations as required.
