Role Description The Head of Training and Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training initiatives across the organization. This role involves assessing training needs for different departments, developing structured training programs and schedules, and delivering or coordinating sessions for drivers, support staff, and office teams. The position includes monitoring training effectiveness, updating content to align with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements, and maintaining training records and compliance documentation.



The Head of Training and Development will collaborate closely with HR and operations leadership on succession planning, capability building, and employee engagement initiatives to support performance, safety, and service quality. The role also requires continuous improvement of training methods, introduction of digital learning tools, and alignment of development plans with organizational goals.
Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Training & Development and Training program design, with the ability to build structured learning paths and modules.
- Hands-on experience in Employee Training and Employee Engagement, focusing on performance improvement, safety awareness, and service quality.
- Knowledge and experience in Succession Planning, talent development, and building leadership pipelines across operational and managerial roles.
- Proven ability to conduct training needs analysis, measure training outcomes, and refine content based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse employee groups in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including managing training calendars, attendance, certifications, and compliance records.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or operations-intensive industries is an advantage, especially with safety and regulatory training.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field; advanced certifications in L&D; or HR are preferred.
