Role Overview :

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to become a trusted technical authority for our Pricing domain. You will operate beyond individual feature delivery, taking ambiguous technical problems and driving them from architecture through production rollout.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop a deep understanding of the Pricing Platform, architecture, business rules, and operational characteristics.
- Deliver complex pricing capabilities while maintaining high engineering standards.
- Reduce architectural complexity and address technical debt.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, performance, and security.
- Mentor engineers and improve technical designs and code reviews.
- Build strong relationships with Product, Architecture, SRE, and Security teams.

Technical Requirements :

- 8 - 12 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.




- Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and the Java ecosystem.
- Robust experience designing and operating RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS and the TypeScript ecosystem.
- Strong experience designing and building applications on AWS.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and high-availability architecture.
- Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability techniques (logs, metrics, traces).

- Ability to identify architectural and operational risks proactively.
- Strong technical judgment and ability to articulate trade-offs.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction beyond individual contributions.
- Experience modernizing complex systems while maintaining business continuity.
