Article Assistant (MIS & Investor Relations)

About the role
We are looking for an Article Assistant to join our finance team in Gurgaon. The role is focused on MIS reporting and investor relations rather than traditional audit and tax practice. You will work closely with the founders and finance leads on the numbers and documents that go to management and investors.
Key responsibilities
MIS and reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports, including P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow summaries.
• Build and maintain management dashboards and KPI trackers.
• Carry out budget-versus-actual and variance analysis, and explain the movements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Reconcile and validate the underlying data so reports are accurate and on time.

Investor relations
• Prepare periodic investor updates, reports and presentations.
• Assist in building pitch decks, financial summaries and data packs for fundraising.
• Maintain the data room and keep investor documents organised and current.




• Help respond to investor queries and due diligence requests with accurate data.
• Track cap table, funding and investor communication records.

General
• Use Excel and AI tools to automate reports and speed up analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect data and present insights to management.

Skills
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, charts); PowerPoint for investor-ready presentations.
• Good grasp of financial statements and accounting fundamentals.
• Interest in FP&A;, business finance and fundraising.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and willingness to apply them to finance work.
• Explicit written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tally or Zoho Books is a plus.
