Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Gandhinagar for a China Clay Process Plant Consultant. The consultant will oversee the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of china clay processing operations, including beneficiation, washing, refining, and quality control. Responsibilities include assessing plant performance, recommending process improvements, implementing best practices for equipment utilization, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. The role involves collaborating with operations, maintenance, and quality teams, conducting technical audits, preparing process documentation, and training plant personnel on efficient and compliant operating procedures. The consultant will also support project planning for capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mineral processing, specifically china clay beneficiation, refining, and plant operations.
• Experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting of industrial mineral plants.




• Familiarity with relevant processing equipment (cyclones, filters, dryers, crushers, mills, classifiers, and slurry handling systems).
• Understanding of quality control parameters, product specifications, and laboratory testing for china clay and related minerals.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance standards, and sustainable mining practices.
• Ability to analyze production data, interpret process trends, and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary plant and project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous consulting or plant management experience in mining or industrial minerals is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Gandhinagar and regularly visit plant facilities.
