Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Cutover Lead to plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end cutover activities for an SAP implementation/transformation program. The candidate will be responsible for developing the cutover strategy, coordinating multiple functional and technical teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring a smooth transition from the legacy environment to the recent SAP system.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the end-to-end SAP cutover plan from preparation through Go-Live and hypercare.
• Develop detailed cutover strategy, plan, schedule, activities, dependencies, and milestones.
• Coordinate with SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, security, integration, data migration, testing, business, and third-party teams.
• Lead mock cutover / rehearsal cycles and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the final cutover plan.
• Define detailed task-level activities, owners,



timelines, prerequisites, and completion criteria.
• Track cutover readiness and ensure all teams complete their assigned activities on time.
• Manage dependencies between data migration, interfaces, integrations, security, transports, jobs, infrastructure, and business activities.
• Coordinate production system readiness, transport movement, master/transaction data migration, interface activation, batch jobs, and other Go-Live activities.
• Conduct regular cutover meetings and provide status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain cutover RAID logs and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Establish clear escalation mechanisms for critical cutover issues.
• Coordinate the Go/No-Go decision process with business and technical stakeholders.
• Lead the cutover command center during the Go-Live window.
