TA Data Analyst

Role Overview

The TA Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and interpreting talent acquisition and workforce-related data from multiple sources, including ATS, HRIS, Excel trackers, surveys and other relevant systems.

The role will enable the Talent Acquisition team to make informed, data-driven decisions that improve hiring effectiveness, workforce efficiency and new-hire experience. Beyond reporting and data management, the TA Data Analyst will identify trends, patterns and potential risks, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and consolidate Talent Acquisition and new-hire data from multiple sources, including ATS/HRIS platforms, employee surveys, Excel trackers and other relevant systems.
- Clean, structure, transform and validate datasets to ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness and integrity.
- Analyse TA/HR data to identify trends, patterns, correlations and meaningful insights across key metrics and performance indicators.
- Design, develop and maintain TA/HR dashboards, reports and data visualizations to provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modelling to support talent initiatives, identify potential risks and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Translate data into business-oriented insights and recommendations, supporting strategic decision-making and the effective execution of TA/HR initiatives.
- Regularly monitor datasets for anomalies, outliers and data-quality issues, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Analyse and track vendor performance, including maintaining vendor-related data, validating monthly invoices and supporting the invoicing and payment process.
- Ensure appropriate data privacy, confidentiality and information-security standards are followed while handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
- Partner with IT, HR technology teams and external vendors to improve HR data management systems, data accessibility, reporting capabilities and overall data quality.




- Support TA/HR data requirements for regulatory reporting, audits, compliance activities and other governance requirements.

Required Knowledge & Skills

- Proven experience in HR/TA data analytics, workforce analytics, people analytics or a similar analytical role, with hands-on experience working with HR-related datasets.
- Strong understanding of HR and Talent Acquisition processes, metrics, KPIs and reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, R, Python and SQL, or equivalent statistical/data-analysis platforms.
- Robust experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools, including the ability to build meaningful dashboards and management reports.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms, including understanding of data structures, data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and analytical techniques, including correlation analysis, regression analysis and predictive modelling.
- Ability to identify patterns, trends, relationships and potential risks within complex datasets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Experience in using Excel macros/VBA or similar automation techniques to streamline recurring reports, dashboards and data processes.
- High degree of attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy, consistency and quality.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within defined timelines.
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as collaboratively with TA, HR, IT and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation and data-storytelling skills,



with the ability to explain analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset, staying current with developments in people analytics, HR technology, data tools and analytical best practices.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with HRIS/ATS data, including data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros/VBA and report/dashboard automation.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R for data analysis.
- Strong experience with Power BI or equivalent data visualization platforms.
- Sound understanding of statistical techniques and analytical methodologies.
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, correlations and anomalies within large or complex datasets.
- Strong ability to convert data into clear insights and recommendations that support business and Talent Acquisition decisions.
- High level of accuracy, data integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
