Role Description The Overseas Education Counselor will provide end-to-end guidance to individuals pursuing international education, including course and university selection, application support, and visa counseling. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, explaining country-specific education systems, and advising on eligibility, admission requirements, and documentation. The counselor will maintain accurate records of interactions, follow up with applicants, and coordinate with internal teams and institutional partners to ensure timely processing. Daily responsibilities also include organizing or supporting seminars,



webinars, and events, responding to inquiries in person, via phone, email, and online channels, and promoting Global Opportunities services in a professional and ethical manner. The role requires working to set targets, providing high-quality customer service, and staying updated on changes in international education policies and visa regulations.
Qualifications

- Counseling and advisory skills, including the ability to assess individual goals, recommend suitable study options, and provide clear, empathetic guidance.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English and the ability to build trust with diverse individuals and families.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple applications, follow-ups, documentation, and deadlines efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and student visa procedures for key destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and online platforms for data entry, record keeping, and virtual communication.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in overseas education counseling, admissions, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to non-discriminatory, inclusive practices.
