About the Role
Idiotic Media is looking for an IT Administrator to keep our systems, network, and devices running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for all things IT in a fast-moving media and content environment, supporting creative, editorial, and business teams so they can work without tech interruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level support to employees for hardware, software, network, and account issues, in person and remotely
- Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals, including onboarding and offboarding of devices
- Manage user accounts, email, and access permissions on Google Workspace / Microsoft 365
- Administer and monitor office network infrastructure (LAN/Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls) and coordinate with ISPs
- Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory, licenses, and warranty/AMC records
- Handle software installation, patching, OS updates, and antivirus/endpoint security
- Support the creative team's needs, such as Mac/Windows workstations, Adobe Creative Cloud, shared storage, and NAS
- Run regular data backups and ensure basic disaster recovery readiness
- Enforce IT security policies, including password management, MFA, and access controls
- Manage vendor relationships and raise procurement requests for IT equipment
- Document processes, troubleshooting steps,
and maintain a ticketing/helpdesk system
- Support video conferencing, meeting room setups, and event or shoot-related tech needs when required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or IT Support Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS environments
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
- Experience administering Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with ticketing tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Good written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
Good to Have
- Certifications such as CompTIA A /Network , CCNA, or MCSA
- Experience with MDM tools and endpoint management
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Prior experience in a media, content, or creative agency setting
- Exposure to NAS/storage management and backup tools
