Key Responsibilities
Transcribe and type cardiology consultation notes and medical reports.
Prepare and format ECG, Echo/2D Echo, TMT, Holter, Doppler, angiography and other cardiac investigation reports.
Type doctors' dictations and clinical correspondence accurately.
Proofread reports for spelling, grammar, medical terminology, and formatting.
Verify patient details and flag unclear or incomplete information for clarification.
Maintain electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and patient documentation.
Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patient information.
Complete reports within required turnaround times.
Coordinate with cardiologists, technicians, nurses, and medical-record staff when necessary.
Perform other administrative/typing duties assigned by the cardiology department.

Required Skills




Valuable knowledge of medical terminology and cardiology terminology.
Quick and accurate English typing.
Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
Valuable English grammar, spelling, and proofreading ability.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and EMR/Hospital Information Systems.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential patient information.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
