Role Purpose

Support the growth of Amara Rajas Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) business across utility scale, C&I; and emerging energy storage applications. The role will support customer engagement, pre bid activities, prospect development, techno commercial coordination, order conversion and management reviews.

Role & responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with IPPs, renewable developers, EPCs, utilities, PSUs, C&I; customers and system integrators.
Identify and track BESS tenders, RFPs, RFQs and project opportunities aligned with Amara Rajas capabilities.
Support pre bid customer engagement, requirement understanding and development of suitable BESS solutions.
Support customer qualification, vendor registration and account development.
Provide market intelligence on BESS technology, pricing, competition and customer requirements.
Maintain opportunity records, MIS and management review inputs.
Coordinate with relevant teams for a smooth transition from order acquisition to execution.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Engineering EEE / ECE; MBA will be an advantage.
4 to 7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Accounts or Project
Development, preferably in BESS, batteries, renewable energy, power systems, solar or related energy businesses.
Experience with EPCs, IPPs, utilities, renewable developers or large C&I; customers preferred.
Good techno-commercial understanding with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.
Strong communication, customer management, coordination and negotiation skills.
Robust analytical, problem-solving and execution capabilities.
