:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to join our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Xero and QuickBooks accounting software and a solid understanding of Australian and New Zealand accounting systems and compliance requirements.

You will work closely with the General Manager and be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send customer invoices
Maintain and update supplier records
Process credit applications and manage digital filing systems
Perform bank reconciliations and monthly account reconciliations
Assist with payroll processing, superannuation, and BAS reporting
Handle retention invoice payments and other accounting tasks as required
Handle customer relationships and manage communications regarding overdue invoices

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
1–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
Strong hands-on experience with Xero and QuickBooks (mandatory)




Knowledge of Australian & New Zealand accounting standards, GST, BAS, and payroll compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Excellent written and spoken English
