Role Description The Assistant Professor for Hotel Management – Front Office is a full time, in office position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves delivering lectures and practical sessions on front office operations, guest services, reservation systems, and related hotel management subjects.

Responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and guiding learners in projects and internships. The faculty member is expected to participate in departmental meetings, contribute to academic and co-curricular activities, engage in relevant research, and support institutional initiatives for quality enhancement and accreditation.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in University Teaching and Curriculum Development, with the ability to design, deliver, and evaluate hotel management and front office courses.
Candidates should possess skills in Organizational Behavior and Marketing to integrate customer service, team dynamics, and hospitality marketing concepts into teaching.




Candidates should possess Research skills, including the ability to undertake academic or applied research in hospitality and hotel management.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a closely related discipline; a doctoral degree or progress toward one is an advantage.
Prior teaching or industry experience in hotel front office operations, guest relations, and property management systems is highly beneficial.
Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, along with the ability to mentor diverse learners.
Familiarity with modern teaching methods, educational technology, and outcome-based education frameworks is desirable.
Commitment to qualified ethics, collaborative work with colleagues, and continuous upskilling in hospitality trends and practices.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
