Role overview

We are hiring an Accounts Executive to own day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance for Frontlyne. You will run the books end to end, from vendor invoices and payroll to GST, TDS, month-end close and audits.

Key responsibilities

1) Core accounting
Handle complete accounting activities for the company.
Maintain statutory and accounting records.
Maintain vendor and customer master data.
Handle month-end and year-end closing.

2) Payables and receivables
Process vendor invoices.
Prepare vendor payment workings.
Handle customer billing and receivables.

3) Banking, cash and reconciliations
Monitor daily bank balances and payments.
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
Handle petty cash accounting and reconciliation.
Handle corporate card accounting and reconciliation.

4) Statutory compliance
Handle GST compliance,



including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B worksheets and payments, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and GSTR-9 worksheets.
Prepare TDS workings and payments.
Handle PF, PT and other statutory payments.

5) Payroll and employee claims
Process monthly payroll and salary workings.
Process employee reimbursements and travel and local conveyance claims.

6) Reporting and budgeting
Prepare cash-flow and fund requirement reports.
Track budgets and prepare budget vs. actual reports.

7) Audit
Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents.
Prepare audit schedules and balance confirmations.

What we are looking for
B.Com or M.Com.
3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a startup or growing private company.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF and PT filings and timelines.
Experience running payroll and month-end close on your own.
Comfortable with Tally or Zoho Books, and solid in Excel.
Accurate, organised and able to meet statutory deadlines without reminders.
Transparent communicator who can work with vendors, employees and auditors.
