About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Property Accounting to lead a team of 15–20 accounting professionals and oversee day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in General Accounting, RTR, GL, reconciliations, financial reporting, and team management. Property Accounting and Yardi/RealPage experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 15–20 accounting professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Oversee General Accounting, RTR, General Ledger, reconciliations, and cash postings.
Prepare and review accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.
Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support team development.




Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve accounting and operational issues within agreed timelines.
Ensure adherence to accounting processes, controls, and quality standards.

Requirements
7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Currently managing a team; individual contributor profiles will not be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experience at Assistant Manager / Team Lead level.
Strong knowledge of General Accounting, RTR, GL, reconciliations, and cash postings.
Experience in Property Accounting will be preferred.
Hands-on experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar accounting software is an advantage.
Strong team management, stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
