Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated

Desktop Support Intern to join our IT team. The intern will assist with day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up computers and peripherals, and helping employees resolve basic IT-related problems.

Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to employees for desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Troubleshoot Windows operating system, software, network, and connectivity problems.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access-related requests.
Perform hardware and software troubleshooting and basic diagnostics.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including device setup and collection.
Maintain IT asset records and inventory.
Log, track, and update support tickets in the IT helpdesk/ticketing system.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members or relevant vendors.
Follow IT security, data protection,



and company policies.
Prepare basic documentation and troubleshooting guides when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

.
Basic knowledge of

Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts

.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 applications.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and LAN concepts.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a team workplace.

Good to Have
Familiarity with IT ticketing/helpdesk tools.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration.
Understanding of endpoint management tools such as Intune.
Basic knowledge of remote-support tools.
