Roles and Responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end QA activities for connected devices and hardware-integrated applications.
Plan and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and E2E testing.
Perform device custody and hands-on device testing, including setup, configuration, pairing, and usage scenarios.
Validate in-situ device behavior in real-world environments and different network conditions.
Test environmental conditions and device behavior across different usage scenarios.
Validate camera, display, speaker, tracker, and doorbell functionality.
Test complete "Unboxing to Health Sync" customer journeys.
Validate device-to-app connectivity, synchronization, notifications, and data flows.
Perform privacy and security-related functional checks and ensure sensitive data is handled correctly.
Validate health and health-disclaimer displays wherever applicable.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Perform root-cause analysis and work closely with developers, product teams, and device engineering teams.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases,



test scenarios, and test execution reports.
Lead defect triage and provide regular QA status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Support release readiness and ensure critical E2E scenarios are covered before production releases.

Required Skills
Robust experience in Device Testing, E2E Testing, System Testing, and Functional Testing.
Hands-on experience testing IoT, smart devices, consumer electronics, or connected devices.
Experience with devices such as cameras, speakers, displays, trackers, doorbells, or similar connected products.
Robust understanding of mobile applications and device-to-app integrations.
Experience with Android and/or iOS testing.
Good knowledge of API, network, connectivity, and integration testing.
Experience with defect management and QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and test execution.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
