Role Description This full-time Freelance Writer role is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The writer will research topics, draft explicit and engaging content for various formats (such as articles, blogs, website copy, and marketing materials), and adapt tone and style to different audiences and brand guidelines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams or clients to understand project requirements, creating content outlines, writing and revising drafts, and delivering polished work within agreed timelines. The role also involves self-editing for grammar, style, and accuracy, incorporating feedback constructively, and maintaining a consistent content pipeline.

Robust writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content across formats (articles, blogs, web copy, and marketing materials).
Demonstrated ability to research topics thoroughly,



verify information from credible sources, and translate complex ideas into accessible language.
Proficiency in editing and self-proofreading to ensure correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines.
Experience working as a freelance or contract writer, including managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and communicating effectively with clients or teams.
Familiarity with digital content practices, such as basic SEO principles, content planning, and use of online collaboration tools.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience in writing.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru, demonstrating reliability, time management, and comfort with both in-person and remote collaboration.
