Job Summary:

The Fabrication Plant Head for Switchgears/MCB Box is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operations within the fabrication plant. This includes ensuring productive production, maintaining high-quality standards for switchgear and MCB enclosures, optimizing processes, managing budgets, and leading a diverse team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal fabrication, specifically for electrical components, and a proven track record in plant management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire fabrication plant operations, ensuring production targets for switchgear and MCB boxes are met efficiently and effectively.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.
Manage the plant's profit and loss (P&L;) statement, including budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
Ensure adherence to all quality standards (e.g., ISO, relevant electrical product standards) for fabricated components and finished enclosures.




Implement and maintain robust safety protocols and environmental compliance within the plant, fostering a solid safety culture.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including production managers, supervisors, and fabrication staff.
Optimize manufacturing processes through the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Manage raw material procurement, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics to ensure uninterrupted production.
Oversee the maintenance of all machinery and equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support current product introduction (NPI) and process improvements for switchgear and MCB enclosures.
Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations pertinent to manufacturing and electrical product fabrication.
