Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls for major railway infrastructure projects from mobilization to completion.
Develop and maintain baseline schedules, detailed execution programmes, monthly plans, and look-ahead schedules in line with contractual milestones.
Monitor planned vs. actual progress, identify critical delays and bottlenecks, and drive recovery/catch-up plans in coordination with project execution teams.
Coordinate closely with Project Heads, Construction, Engineering, Contracts, Billing, Procurement, Commercial, and HO teams to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
Review resource planning, productivity, quantities, manpower, machinery, and material requirements and align them with project execution plans.




Prepare and review weekly/monthly MIS, progress dashboards, S-curves, DPR/MPR, critical path analysis, and management reports for senior management review.
Drive delay analysis, EOT-related planning inputs, schedule impact assessment, and contractual programme submissions in coordination with the Contracts/Commercial team.
Monitor subcontractor/vendor programmes and ensure their schedules are aligned with the approved master project programme and contractual commitments.
Lead a team of planning specialists and establish robust project control systems, planning processes, reporting mechanisms, and performance monitoring standards across railway projects.
Should have robust hands-on experience in Railway/Metro/Heavy Civil infrastructure projects, with proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, project controls, critical path analysis, and schedule management.
