Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled ePub Developer with hands-on experience in creating reflowable and fixed-layout ePubs. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of publishing standards and be able to deliver high-quality, error-free eBooks.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality reflowable and fixed-layout ePubs from InDesign / Word / PDF sources (ePub2 & ePub3)
Convert and code content using HTML5, CSS3, and XML
Ensure ePub files meet accessibility standards (WCAG / ePub Accessibility 1.1)
Perform quality checks using EpubCheck, Ace by DAISY, and other validation tools
Handle image optimization, font embedding, TOC, metadata creation
Troubleshoot and fix issues related to rendering across devices (Kindle, Apple Books,



Kobo)
Collaborate with editorial, QC, and project management teams to meet deadlines
Update work status in internal portal / mVendor

Required Skills:
Proven experience in ePub development (ePub2 / ePub3)
Expert in HTML5, CSS3, XML, XHTML
Working experience with tools: Adobe InDesign, Oxygen XML Editor, Sigil, Calibre, BBEdit
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 / Accessibility, ARIA roles
Familiarity with Amazon Kindle formats (KF8, KFX)
Valuable understanding of ONIX / Metadata is a plus

Qualifications:
Any Graduate. Degree/Diploma in Publishing or Computer Science preferred.
Certification in ePublishing will be an added.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
