VNR Marine is expanding its boat-building and marine projects and is looking for a Naval Architect / FRP Boat Design & Production Engineer to join our team.
Position
Naval Architect – FRP Boat Design & Production
Experience
Minimum 2 years of practical experience in FRP boat building/production.
Candidates should preferably have experience in:
FRP hull construction and lamination
Production supervision and quality control
Boat design and construction drawings
Classification Society requirements
IRS / Class survey coordination
Marine rules and regulations
Technical documentation and project reports
Responsibilities
Design and development of current FRP boats and marine craft
Supervise FRP production, lamination and structural work
Prepare/review GA, structural and construction drawings
Develop FRP lamination schedules and production procedures
Coordinate with IRS / Classification Society and statutory authorities
Handle class inspections, surveys and technical correspondence
Ensure construction complies with approved drawings and applicable rules
Prepare technical documents,
QC reports and project records
Coordinate with production teams, vendors, clients and surveyors
Support projects from concept, design and construction through trials and delivery
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related field with atleast 2 years experience.
Salary
₹45,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, technical capability and relevant project exposure.
