Role Description The Junior Java Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based at IITM College of Engineering in Recent Delhi. The individual in this role will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications and tools that support academic and administrative processes.

Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, debugging and resolving software issues, and collaborating with senior developers on new features and enhancements.

Developer will work with frameworks such as Spring, contribute to microservices-based components, and support integration and testing activities. The role also involves documenting technical work, following best practices in software development, and continuously learning new technologies aligned with institutional needs.

Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in Programming and Java, with the ability to write, test, and debug code.
Knowledge of Software Development principles, including object-oriented design and version control tools.
Familiarity with Spring Framework and related Java ecosystem tools for building enterprise applications.
Understanding of Microservices concepts and basic experience working with service-oriented architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, follow technical guidance, and meet project timelines.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and code quality.
Interest in continuous learning, staying current with Java, frameworks, and modern development practices.
