Role Description The Interior Designer Faculty will deliver classroom and studio-based instruction to design students, guiding them through fundamental and advanced concepts in interior design. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching theoretical and practical modules, supervising design projects, mentoring students, and evaluating assignments and portfolios. The faculty member will collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum, organize workshops, and stay updated with industry trends to integrate relevant practices into teaching.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division,



requiring regular presence on campus for classes, reviews, and student consultations.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to guide students in creating functional, aesthetic spaces.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to support teaching of technical detailing and design documentation.
Candidates should possess expertise in FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) to help students understand selection, specification, and coordination of interior elements.
Relevant academic qualifications in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred).
Prior teaching or training experience, or significant professional practice in interior design studios or architectural firms.
Proficiency in design software commonly used in the industry (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Solid communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills, with the ability to work inclusively with diverse learners.
Commitment to hands-on, project-based learning and willingness to participate in reviews, exhibitions, and academic events.
