Lead Project P&M; (Assistant General Manager)Minimum Qualification and Skills
Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, or related field.
10 to 18 years of experience in Plant & Machinery management within the Infrastructure and EPC industry.
Solid leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent knowledge of equipment maintenance, mobilization, and demobilization.
Proven ability to manage P&M; operations as a profit center.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Lead and oversee the Plant & Machinery (P&M;) department, ensuring efficient operations and optimal resource utilization.
Develop and implement strategies to operate the P&M; department as a profit center, focusing on cost control, revenue generation, and value addition.
Monitor and manage the deployment, maintenance, and performance of all project equipment and machinery.




Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of machinery as per project requirements.
Analyze equipment utilization and downtime, and initiate corrective actions to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
Prepare and manage budgets for the P&M; department, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all P&M; activities.
Mentor and develop the P&M; team to build technical and managerial capabilities.
