Purpose of the Role
Manage procurement activities for MRO (Spares, AMC & Services), Capex and Steel Structurals.
Implement procurement strategies to ensure security of supply and optimum value for money.
Analyze market trends, pricing and delivery trends and modify category procurement strategies accordingly.
Ensure compliance with procurement processes, policies and guidelines to deliver a commercial and cost-effective procurement process.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and value addition to drive procurement performance and business results.
Manage end-to-end procurement and contracting activities including vendor pre-qualification, negotiations, CS preparation, PO preparation and delivery follow-up.
Prepare and maintain monthly MIS and procurement reports.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across functions.




Support business continuity and vendor plant audits, wherever applicable, to support plant and business growth.

Functional / Technical Competencies
Working knowledge of procurement and sourcing techniques with the ability to understand and assess market trends.
Robust negotiation and networking skills.
Valuable numerical and analytical aptitude.
Ability to collect, analyze and interpret procurement data.
Ability to identify and implement process solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Robust stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior management as well as Engineering, Stores, Accounts, Commercial, Plant Quality and Manufacturing teams.
