Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Liaison professional to manage government and regulatory liaison activities for real estate projects. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with relevant government departments, statutory authorities and regulatory bodies, and ensuring timely coordination for various project-related approvals and permissions.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in real estate/construction liaison, excellent knowledge of government processes, robust negotiation and follow-up skills, and an established working network with relevant government authorities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage liaison activities with government departments, statutory authorities and regulatory bodies for real estate projects.
Coordinate and follow up for project approvals, permissions, NOCs, sanctions and statutory clearances.
Develop and maintain qualified relationships with relevant government officials and authorities.
Handle matters related to municipal authorities, development authorities,



land-related departments and other statutory bodies.
Ensure timely movement and follow-up of applications, files, permissions and approvals.
Coordinate with internal teams such as Projects, Legal, Land, Construction and Management for documentation and approval requirements.
Track the status of various approvals and proactively identify potential delays or issues.
Facilitate resolution of issues arising during the approval and project development process.
Represent the organization in interactions with relevant government departments and external authorities.
Support management in matters requiring government coordination, negotiation and resolution.
Maintain proper records and status reports of approvals, permissions and ongoing liaison matters.
Provide regular updates to senior management regarding pending approvals, regulatory matters and critical government-related issues.
