Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Librarian-cum-Punjabi Teacher to manage the school library and teach Punjabi to students up to Class 3. The candidate should have a love for books, a child-friendly approach, and the ability to make Punjabi learning interesting and engaging for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

As a Punjabi Teacher:
Teach Punjabi language to students from Nursery to Class 3.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate, interactive lessons.
Develop students’ basic Punjabi reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Prepare worksheets, activities, stories, rhymes, and other learning resources.
Conduct classwork, assessments, and maintain students’ academic records.
Encourage students to develop an interest in Punjabi language and literature.
Maintain a positive, secure, and engaging classroom setting.

As a Librarian:
Manage and maintain the school library and its collection of books.
Issue and return books and maintain proper library records.
Help students select age-appropriate books.
Conduct storytelling, reading, and library activities for young learners.
Maintain discipline and a quiet,



welcoming library environment.
Organize books systematically and keep the library clean and accessible.
Recommend suitable books and reading materials for different age groups.
Encourage students to develop regular reading habits.

Qualifications
Graduation in Punjabi / Education or a relevant subject.
B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Library Science qualification/certification will be an advantage.
Good command of Punjabi and basic proficiency in English.
Previous experience teaching young children and/or working in a school library will be preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
