Role & responsibilities :
Creating a protected and caring setting
Ensure children feel secure, welcomed, and valued.
Maintain a clean, protected, and child-friendly classroom.
Supervise children and respond appropriately to their needs.
Planning learning activities
Prepare age-appropriate activities for language, numbers, art, music, movement, and general awareness.
Use play, stories, games, songs, and hands-on activities to make learning enjoyable.
Supporting overall development
Encourage children's cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language development.
Help children develop independence, confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Teaching basic concepts and skills
Introduce letters, sounds, numbers, shapes,



colours, patterns, and everyday concepts.
Develop children's communication, listening, and early literacy skills.
Encouraging positive behaviour
Teach sharing, cooperation, kindness, respect, and taking turns.
Guide children in managing emotions and resolving easy conflicts.
Observing and assessing children
Observe children's interests, abilities, behaviour, and developmental progress.
Maintain appropriate records and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
