Sales Manager - AWP / Scissor Lifts

Summary We are seeking a agile and experienced skilled to lead our Sales efforts within the Aerial Work Platform and Scissor Lift sector. In this pivotal role, the incumbent will drive business growth, cultivate strategic client relationships, and oversee the sales lifecycle for specialized equipment.

The position is critical to expanding our market presence in the manufacturing and construction industries, requiring a deep understanding of AWP technologies and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer operational needs.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue from Aerial Work Platform and Scissor Lift product lines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, contractors, and rental companies to drive repeat business and referrals.
Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the AWP and Scissor Lift segments.
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial lead generation and needs assessment to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.




Collaborate with technical teams to provide expert product demonstrations and ensure clients receive accurate information regarding equipment capabilities.
Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust tactics to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
Stay current on industry regulations, safety standards, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements
Minimum of five years of proven sales experience, specifically within the AWP, Scissor Lift, or heavy equipment industries.
Demonstrated expertise in selling Aerial Work Platforms and Scissor Lifts, with a solid track record of meeting sales quotas.
In-depth knowledge of the technical specifications and applications of AWP and Scissor Lift machinery.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans to drive business expansion.
Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of industry best practices regarding equipment operation and compliance.
