Job Title: Quality Associate

Department: Quality / Quality Control / Quality Assurance

Location: Oragadam, Chennai

Reports To: Quality Manager / QA-QC Incharge

Qualification:
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or
B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry

Experience:
0 to 5 years of experience (Freshers can also apply)
Experience in manufacturing / chemical / process industry will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
Conduct laboratory testing as per standard procedures and specifications
Maintain accurate records of test results, reports, and quality documents
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements
Identify non-conformities and report deviations to the supervisor
Support in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to quality norms




Assist in internal audits and quality system implementation
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the laboratory/work area
Coordinate with production and other departments for quality-related issues

Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of chemical testing and laboratory practices
Understanding of quality standards and documentation
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting)
Positive communication and teamwork skills

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
