Internships at Carnegie India

Carnegie India offers three-to-twelve-month internships to support the Center's scholars and programs. Interns are an integral part of Carnegie's growing global network.

Interns are provided a stipend.

General Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Graduate
Candidates must have an excellent verbal and written command of English

Research Intern – Security Studies Program Carnegie India is seeking research interns, with a background in defence/strategic studies, or a related field to work for a period of six to nine months starting November 2026.
The intern may be assigned administrative, editorial, research, writing, or organizational tasks to provide overall support to Carnegie India's Security Studies focus area. The intern will also assist scholars on ongoing projects, background research, and events.
The internship will require the intern to play a supporting role in helping organize Carnegie India's flagship summit – the Global Technology Summit, Security Studies Dialogue, and any other events as necessary.
Responsibilities may include research assistance on issues relating to military modernization, boundary issues, security outlook, strategic partnerships, global conflicts,



and so on.
The ideal candidate must have:
Excellent research and writing skills.
Solid interest in issues mentioned above.
The ability to be an enthusiastic and creative team player while working both independently and collaboratively.

This is a full time role, and the selected candidates will be required to attend the office of Carnegie India in Recent Delhi. How to Apply For consideration, applicants must send
