Key Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for pipe routing and layout design for heavy vehicle applications.
Develop and maintain 3D models of piping/routing components and create engineering drawings using Siemens NX.
Prepare and generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for piping and routing components.
Release and manage BOM and design data through PLM tools.
Coordinate regularly with engineering colleagues for design discussions, technical clarifications, and reviews.
Participate in design reviews, vehicle build audits, and build-related activities.
Ensure routing designs meet required design, packaging, manufacturing, and vehicle integration requirements.
Review design changes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely implementation.
Support issue identification and resolution during vehicle build and validation activities.

Technical Skills




Solid hands-on experience in Piping & Routing Design.
Proficiency in Siemens NX / NX CAD.
Working knowledge of PLM tools and engineering data release processes.
Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation.
Positive understanding of BOM preparation and management.
Experience in automotive/vehicle design and build audit activities.

Desired Profile
4+ years of relevant experience in piping/routing or automotive design.
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional and international engineering teams.
Candidates with experience in commercial vehicle/automotive piping and routing design will be preferred.
