Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SOLIDWORKS.
Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and fabricated structures.
Prepare manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, specifications, and material details.
Create sheet metal flat patterns and nesting layouts for manufacturing.
Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and component specifications.
Perform product costing and material estimation based on design and manufacturing requirements.
Maintain and control design files, drawing revisions, engineering documents, and design records.
Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning &
Tolerancing)

as per drawing and manufacturing requirements.
Understand and consider machining processes while developing components and manufacturing drawings.

Design for Assembly (DFA)
Understand fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and assembly.
Support the design and development of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
Design and develop fabrication fixtures to improve manufacturing accuracy and productivity.
Select appropriate manufacturing methods based on component design, material, quantity, and cost.
Have basic knowledge of heat treatment processes and their impact on material properties and component performance.
Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues.
Review designs for manufacturability, cost effectiveness, quality, and ease of assembly.
Implement design changes based on production feedback and engineering requirements.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
