Role & responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized Biochemistry and Hematology investigations.
Operate and maintain fully automated analyzers and laboratory equipment.
Handle sample collection, processing, labeling, and proper storage as per SOPs.
Perform CBC, peripheral smear, HbA1c, LFT, RFT, lipid profile, electrolytes, and other routine tests as applicable.
Conduct internal quality control and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Follow NABL quality standards, laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
Identify sample rejection criteria and ensure proper corrective action.
Monitor analyzer performance, calibration, reagents, and maintenance requirements.
Coordinate with pathologists, sample collection, accession, and other laboratory departments.
Review results and escalate abnormal or critical findings according to laboratory protocols.




Maintain proper records, registers, QC documentation, and equipment logs.
Support smooth laboratory operations during shifts and assist junior technicians when required.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, Hematology, or relevant field.

Experience

24 years of relevant experience, preferably in a diagnostic laboratory.

Robust knowledge of Biochemistry & Hematology
Experience with fully automated analyzers
NABL documentation and quality-control knowledge
Troubleshooting and equipment handling
Positive communication and teamwork
Willingness to work in rotational shifts
