Responsible for managing series supplier performance, QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery), productivity, cost reduction, and purchasing activities at plant/division level.
Key Responsibilities
Drive productivity, savings and cost-reduction initiatives at plant/division level.
Manage supplier performance, quality and delivery, including PPM and MPM targets.
Work with SQA, Supply Chain, Plant and Commodity teams to resolve supplier issues and improve performance.
Ensure smooth program-to-series transition and monitor supplier/part information.
Manage ordering, invoicing, pricing and cost control activities.
Support customer audits, volume changes and purchasing-related reporting.
Ensure compliance with Group Purchasing policies and escalate issues when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
4+ years of purchasing experience as a Program, Series and/or Commodity Buyer.
Experience in supplier management, cost reduction, productivity/Lean, quality and logistics.
Fluent English with solid communication and ability to work in a matrix organization.
International mindset and valuable stakeholder-management skills.
Nice to Have
International Purchasing / Supply Chain / Manufacturing specialization.
Knowledge of products & technology, supplier audits and quality management.
