Identify recent metal scrap vendors, dealers, aggregators, and sourcing channels.
Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing suppliers and institutional sources.
Manage the complete scrap procurement process, from sourcing and enquiry to delivery, reconciliation, and payment.
Conduct vendor and market visits to evaluate material quality, grades, quantity, pricing, and sourcing potential.
Coordinate with Plant and Operations teams for material inspection, grading, quality approval, and acceptance.
Negotiate prices, quantities, quality specifications, payment terms, and pickup/logistics conditions with vendors.
Manage vendor onboarding and compliance, including KYC, documentation, commercial evaluation, and internal approvals.
